Start Where You Are: A Vegan Journey


There is something powerful about beginning exactly where you are—without waiting for the “perfect” time, the perfect kitchen, the perfect budget, or the perfect mindset. When it comes to a vegan journey, the most important step is simply starting.

Look at what’s already in your life:

Then build from there.

If you love tacos, make them vegan. If you love smoothies, add more plants. If you’re busy, keep meals simple.

You don’t have to overhaul your life overnight. Small changes done consistently lead to big transformation.

💚 Give Yourself Grace

Some days will be easy. Some days won’t.

You may slip. You may crave old foods. You may feel discouraged. That doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human. Several times on my journey I found myself craving some of my childhood favorites. Which made me quickly learn vegan substitutes and work arounds.

Grace keeps you going. Guilt stops you.

Comparison is one of the biggest joy-stealers. Someone else’s timeline is not yours. Someone else’s plate is not yours. Someone else’s path is not yours.

Your journey is unique—and that’s a beautiful thing.
